Description:
A film based on John Lautner’s Sheats-Goldstein Residence (1963), documenting its movable features. The house was used in many movies as hub for villains. Basic impulses and desires are expressed in modernist architecture. A Toxic Titties performance disrupts and revitalizes the architecture. Modernist architecture acts as a setting for fantasies, memories, orgies, chaos, and sexual ambivalence. Mid-century modernism is here more concerned with escapist materialism.
